Recently in the winter of 20172018 the ship was completely refurbished with the addition of luxurious cabins with a contemporary interior.

Winston Knauss is designer builder owner and captain of the most unique charter yachts in the world. This midsize river cruise ship was extended in 2012 by 16 metres and ten new cabins were created.

24 cabins on the main deck and 11 cabins on the promenade deck. The Winston Churchill was built as a car ferry for the Scandinavian Seaways DFDS service from Esbjerg to Harwich and proved a very successful vessel on the route. Continuing around the Starboard side in a forward direction is the entrance to what is now the Queen Marys Fine Dining Restaurant Sir Winstonswhile further forward are the ships lifeboat stations Starboard side looking forwardand Port side looking aft Climbing above the Sun Deck one can get a good view into the lifeboats.
