PO Ventura Suffers Propulsion Issues. The ship experienced problems with the Azipod propulsion which slowed the speed over the last night of the previous cruise resulting in late arrival at the homeport Fort Lauderdale Florida. Yesterday during regularly scheduled testing of the ships emergency diesel generator a malfunction occurred.
We were worried that it would affect our cruise. The Royal Caribbean cruise ship also had propulsion issues back in May 2017. Carnival says the Legend should be operating normally.
